Last Bath..

As I watch the water rise, letting my robe drop to the floor..
Ideas cycle through my brain as my
mind begins to wander, but I came here not to think so I step into the waiting tub.

Slowly lowering myself in the warm waters washing away my bleeding heart's
pain. The thoughts of the soapy bubbles
against your skin.

Then all at once it hits me as the aroma of
the scented candles, trigger the lyrics of our song. Gently I drift away to a distant moment when we shared our dreams and  life we spend forever.

As I shampooed your hair, rinsed it off and kiss your smooth silky shoulders..

Then the plug is pulled, the waters
spirals down and out. Leaving me in
a cold and empty tub.
I realized your gone and one towel hangs
alone.
