Homo Nobili - Homo letalis

Cette nuit
J'ai fait un rêve étrange
Etrange comme les fruits de Georgie
Cette nuit
Homo Nobili
J'ai fait un rêve étrange
de croix incendiées
et de feuilles ensanglantées.
J'ai rêvé
Homo Letalis
Qu'on lapidait à tours de bras
Au nom du père ou bien du fils
Dans les rues d'Atlanta.

Quand je me suis éveillé
En ce premier jour d'automne
A cinq heures dix
Au pénitencier de Jackson
s'éteignait Troy Davis
Homo Nobili
Homo letalis
Et les feuilles
des arbres de georgie
Pleuraient des larmes de sang.

tonight
I had a strange dream
Strange as Georgie's Fruits
tonight
Homo Nobili
I had a strange dream
of cross in fire
and bloody sheets.
I dreamed
Homo Letalis
They stoned arm towers
In the name of the father or the son
In the streets of Atlanta.

When I awoke
On this first day of autumn
At ten past five
in Penitentiary Jackson
Troy Davis was extinguished
Homo Nobili
Homo letalis
And the leaves
of georgie's trees
was crying tears of blood.
