A Sad Story

How was one a travesty
And genocide but another
Statistic daily

Who was here first
Man or Earth or
God

And if the farm
Be for the people
Why do we rush and wish
Other people gone

In today's statistic daily
Another million gone

Or is it because the earth
Has to ventilate

No excuses made

If i had to choose
Between my farm and my son
The farm is surely gone

If i had to choose
Between my son and my God
Surely the son be gone

But thankfully
There is no choice
To be made today

But travesty and statistics
Still have their way
