Les corneilles et les margots
Adorent ce pacage herbeux.
En voilà des oiseaux verbeux
Qui ne sont pas du tout nigauds !

Aussi lents que des escargots,
Çà et là paissent les grands bœufs.
Les corneilles et les margots
Adorent ce pacage herbeux.

Là-bas, sur les tas de fagots,
Et sur les vieux chênes gibbeux,
Tout autour du marais bourbeux,
En font-elles, de ces ragots,
Les corneilles et les margots !
