Le Touriste

Maurice Rollinat 1846 (Châteauroux) – 1903 (Ivry-sur-Seine)

Le plein midi darde ses flèches
Dans l’air chaud comme une fournaise.
Je chemine tout à mon aise,
Loin des fiacres et des calèches.

Ici, promenades et pêches.
J’aime ça, ne vous en déplaise ;
Le plein midi darde ses flèches
Dans l’air chaud comme une fournaise.

Cher pays, comme tu m’allèches
Par tes rocs et ta terre glaise !
Je n’ai pas de jument anglaise,
Mais j’ai deux jambes toujours fraîches.
Le plein midi darde ses flèches.
