Je frissonne toujours à l’aspect singulier
De certaine bottine ou de certain soulier.
Oui, (que pour me railler vos épaules se haussent !)
Je frissonne : et soudain, songeant au pied qu’ils chaussent,
Je me demande : « Est-il mécanique ou vivant ?
Et je suis pas à pas le sujet, l’observant,
Et cherchant l’appareil d’acier qui se dérobe
Sous le pantalon fin ou sous la belle robe ;
Et dès qu’il a relui, maniaque aux abois,
Dans le cuir élégant je flaire un pied de bois.
