Aquarelle

Maurice Rollinat 1846 (Châteauroux) – 1903 (Ivry-sur-Seine)

Adorablement naturiste,
Ma mignonne peint dans les bois,
Aux sons de harpe et de hautbois
Roucoulés par un ruisseau triste.

Ingénu, curieux, artiste,
Et nuit et jour prompt aux effrois,
Son œil maudit les serpents froids
Et rit aux bluets d’améthyste.

Rougeoîment des feuilles de buis,
Usure verte des vieux puits,
Lueurs d’étoiles presque éteintes,

Lichens gris du ravin profond
Attirent ses regards qui vont
Se pâmer dans les demi-teintes.
