    It would be interesting to know the origin of Alcot's poem. She was born in 1832 and died in 1888. Samuel Taylor Coleridge's Rime of the Ancient Mariner reads, "He prayeth best who loveth best, All things great and small, For the dear God who loveth us, He made and loveth all." Coleridge was born in 1772 and died in 1834.
