Morgan's

i can’t sleep at night unless he’s there
when the curve of his neck smells like caramel
and the essence inside tempts my tongue
the warmth he grants my lungs and my heart and my liver
a warmth that denotes to love and care and euphoria
i place my lips on his lips and tilt my head back so he can take control
when did we become so trusting of each other
he burns the back of my throat as he loves me
such sweethearts do not choose to dwell on the passing of time
for to be loved is to be consumed
