Judgement's Path

A crowded path in a square

Behold all eyes on you
And follow along the whispers
Lies, anger, and fear in a line
Ready to fire once spoken
Like weapons in disguise

You stand apart from the others
Waiting to hear their toxic words
And labels they bestow on you
Not a gift, but a giving

Not much you can do
But stand with your head held high and stand your true you

About this poem

I wrote this poem because people judge others too quickly and then make assumptions. People are also too quick to gossip and spread things about people that aren't true. This often leads to hurt feelings and people being bullied.
