Harmony's Journey

I hear a distant song so clear,
Heart guides hand, drawing near.
A prayer, lifting my soul on high,
To the azure sky, reaching the sky.

I walk, I'll rest, find reprieve,
Here, the scent of homeland's eve.
With cheese and mold, a savory blend,
As sorrow wanes, the days transcend.

From captivity, I rise anew,
The solitary days, stark and true.
The river flowed, it twisted and turned,
Enduring much, lessons learned.

Oh, my gracious God divine,
You kept me on the path, in line.
