A Daddy's Promise

Keeping y'all close at hand & secure is my only goal
Everyday y'all somehow seem to deeply touch my soul
Leaving me lost in an uncontrolable lust & desire
Learning that laughter is within y'all's undiscovered fire
Yesterday's pain can be made known unto me
Trusting y'all's heart to be within my hands for all to see
Understanding thier fragileness and keeping them safe
Because i too understand the pain of a heart under constant strafe
Besiged by grief, heartache, & sorrow that is my heart & i give it to thee  
Showing you through actions how unconditional love is supposed to be
