Herrens Bøn

Hans Christian Andersen 1805 (Odense) – 1875 (Copenhagen)

Læs Aften og Morgen dit Fadervor!

    „Vor Fader i Himlen unævnelig stor!
    Dit hellige Navn os i Hjerterne groe,
    Lad ind i dit Rige os bygge og boe,
    Din Villie raade i Liv og i Død,
    Du vil os give vort daglige Brød,
    Forlad os vor Skyld, som vi dem forlade,
    Der skulde os takke og ikke hade,
    Hold Fristelsen fra os, dens Synd og Last,
    Frels os fra det Onde, hold Du os fast;
    Thi dit er Riget og Magten og Æren,
    I Jesu Navn og vor evige Væren!"
