La fée Oriande vivait dans son château de Rose-Fleur
C'est ici quand ce fut le déclin du printemps l'édification des Roses
Oriande y dort comme un parfum venu dans la dernière lettre et qui repose
Sur mon cœur
Entre les deux pétales de cette vernale rose
Mais c'est l'été maintenant
Oriande y vivrait dans son château de Rose-Fleur
Tourné comme nous et l'église vers l'orient
Et c'est le soir des roses
Les vieilles paroles sont mortes au dernier printemps
Des harmonies puissantes et nouvelles jaillissent de mon cœur
Mais Oriande écrit un L
 Au ciel
Résigne-toi mon cœur où le sort t'a fixé
Et l'été passera Le printemps a passé
Mais Oriande écrit un O
En haut
Et j'accorde mon luth comme l'on bande un arc
Mais Oriande écrit un U
Sur le ciel nu
Le ciel d'un bleu profond d'un bleu nocturne
D'un bleu qui s'épaissit en souhaits en amour
En puissante joie
Et de mon cœur de poète
De mon cœur qui est la Rose
Oriande ruisselle
Onde parfumée des chansons
Où tu aimes tremper ton âme
Tandis que la fée s'endort
Oriande s'endort dans son château de Rose-Fleur
