It's over

Kelley Davies 1983 (Dallas)

Time is ending

The future is gone

I may live or die all in a day

I no longer wish to be here

I am watching this world evaporate and lose

The darkness takes over the light

Eats it like a sandwich

I'm spinning in nothingness waiting for the end to come

So much death, and I choose it now

I no longer sympathize with the light

I only see darkness and death and so I have become that great abyss

Having stared at it, into it too long

Oh well, I was nothing to begin with. Returning to nothing won't be that hard.
