Nature's Solace

As the sun sets behind the rolling hills,
And shades of bright red and gold paint the sky,
My heart with delight and gratitude fills,
For moments like these, I cannot deny.

The gentle breeze whispers through the fir trees,
And the birds sing their sweet afternoon song,
As I sit and ponder life's mysteries,
And wonder where in this world I belong.

In times of darkness, I have found solace,
In the beauty of nature and its grace,
It reminds me of life's greater purpose,
And guides me as I find my rightful place.

So let the stars shine bright in the dark night,
For tomorrow shall bring a new day's light.
