He Doesn't Know You

David Hignojoz 1969 (Los Angeles)

Are you special, he doesn't know
Because he is not here
But I know
How creative and smart you are
When it comes to imagination
Looking up at the planets and the stars
Are you special, he doesn't know
Because I am the one
That helps you learn and grow
One day into a fine young man
That will make us proud
and will say yes I can
It's not easy without a father
Not even getting a present with a bow
He's a man with no clue
He has lost out
I'm sorry you own father doesn't know you
