Our hero's- Men

Rishika Kavade 2003 (Pune)

Everyday news portrays men as a villain,
But sometimes they are just gentlemen in linen..
When born in a family, it brings in a lot of celebrations,
But after that they are left only with people's expectations...
He has to be great brother, great husband and a great son,
But still all his work on time is done...
Happiest he is when he becomes a father,
He loves himself a little less and thinks about others..
They have to be more responsible in every step they take,
Because in our society they are not allowed to make mistake...
"How can you cry, you are a boy" is taught since birth,
And in this way we forget to give their emotions a worth...
Today, lets appreciate their effort,
Without whom our lives are just like a desert,
You too can share your thoughts and speak what your hearts say,
Here's wishing you a HAPPY INTERNATIONAL MEN'S DAY!!!

About this poem

Men are not appreciated always and are just looked upon like a criminal most of the times. So something for them.
