My life's luckiest charm

Shakeeb Ahmed 2007 (Kandy)

You know the feeling you get
The feeling that you have never met
When your life is like a formula one race
Running 24 hours a day, seven days a week at a fast pace
Then you see a girl
Then either your life runs faster, or you decide to slow down,
But at that split second your soul begins to shine
Even brighter than a sparkling golden crown
I had never seen anyone with such beauty and grace
My heart Pounded harder than a drum base
My Life got a whole new meaning
And my vision got a whole new scenery
Her hair was long and glossy
Her smile was so bright, but was not too flossy
Her eyes were shimmering stars
It would shine from far
Her small smile could send chills down your spine
But it was all fine
When you see her, either your heart goes fast and hasty
Or it could just go quiet and calm
Either way I knew that she was my lucky charm
