The Writer's Plight

The life of a writer, a story untold
His letters depict his blood
He sees his pieces mocking him
The writer claims his life has neither pain nor regrets
He tries to deceive the world with sweet words
His words soothes the hearts of many
He alone knows what his words mean
He calls himself a motivator
That's how he looks in the eyes of the public
He needs motivation than anyone alive
"The life of a man passes just like a thunderbolt" says the writer
The writer explains thunderbolts look bright and deceptive
When in contact they cause pain and death
If a man is prone to depression and anxiety he is known as a writer
The more you express yourself with an ink
The more the scales on your eyes falls
That's when you realize life is vanity
These are the words of the writer

About this poem

From my point of view, writers are the sadest people on earth but they are the ones who put smiles on the face of others
