Why can't we end up together

We cried together laugh together gone through many hardship together, now separating from you making me cry but this time why can't we cry together.
Finding reasons of separation but why can't I find one , why I am remembering the promise that we made together that we end up together.
This heartache making me forget everything
even now why I am thinking of ending together.
Why can't i forget the time we spend together ,why can't I make up past , why I am still thinking of future together, why can't we end up together.
