I've watched the stars dance across your eyes,
And seen the moon rise in your smile,
For miles I've watched your crimson sunset lips,
And gazed through the windows of your soul,
Your voice lightens up a torrid day,
When oceans crash against eroded rocks planted before time,
And in that moment,
Hope springs like flowers that were locked in winter's chill,
You are like that bird that sings sweet melodies when irritated babies struggle to sleep,
Your gentleness rocks a heart to slumber,
But you're not like hard lumber,
Your skin is like silk trapped in a red dress,
It causes hands to glide all over,
Do you hear that music?
It's our favorite,
We dance in the shadows,
Telling tales in each other's ears,
Such moments,
If only they could be left in an hour glass that sits still,
To feel your breath on my neck,

It's a tingle,
