Let's just life

LETS JUST "LIFE" TOGETHER
Yes let’s just life because we cannot live until we understand life
Because you are not mine and I am not yours we cannot therefor live.
But let’s just life together,
 let’s go on adventures,
 stop along the road,
savor the taste of coffee with the sunrise,
take selfies with the moon,
feel the sea sand beneath our feet as we walk along the beach,
let’s dance to tune of music,
let’s experience the energy of other people,
let’s end up in a forest between the trees and do whatever makes us happy in that moment,
let’s travel at night to watch the stars and make camp fires along the river.
Let’s just life together for as long as you are not mine and I am not yours but for as long as we are still us let’s just life together.

Lets just life because we have been robbed of the beauty of true happiness and the fire that once burned inside us has died but I would hold your hand and dance with you in the rain until you find your flame again then you may let go and find your path but while your path is crossed with mine then let’s just life together.

About this poem

While writting this poem I was in the midst of rediscovering who I am, it is addressed to a person that was lost inside me a person with whom I wanted to experience 'life' with, hence the title "let's just life" it was a time when I was learning about things that a dormant version of me had been yearning for and this poem had given her life again
