I've always yearned for you infinite bliss

I've always yearned for you infinite bliss,
since my first breath of life you've tried to flee,
to be cherished is my greatest wish,
not for my smile or rose lips, but for me,
You are prime to survive, yet i stoop here,
a vulnerable lamb, dim and despised,
why do you not evaporate my fear,
be my salvation, gaze into my eyes,
adam adored eve through true love's descent,
like the night sky to the glistening moon,
i'll never tame you, just pure torment,
Oh how you hate me you wicked typhoon,
you repel when i strive to draw you in,
but as they say ,love's game is impossible to win
