David Ugba is A highly motivated and dedicated security operative, Lawyer, Award Winning Poet, and the Author "Awaken the Riches Within" amongst his other books. He came into limelight as a poet when he won the prestigious writers choice award organised by the International Library of Poets, USA with his poem "Refusal in Slumber. He was also nominated as one of the best Poets of the Last Melenium. His poems featured extensively in the defunct poetry.com website before the present platform came into being. He has worked as a Police advisor in the United Nations Mission in Darfur, Southern Sudan in 2007-2008.
