Merle's Victory Over Grief

Merle's Victory Over Grief

From that very first movement on the inside,
to the experience of delivering you at birth.
And the very first time you opened your eyes,
there was no words for what our bond was worth.

Your first words, and steps,...

The Merriment of Miss Merle

The Merriment of Miss Merle

The giggling girl inside her,
laughs joyfully out loud!
Contagious joy flows through her,
infecting everyone she encounters with a smile.

As the song so cheerfully declares,
she has "sunshine on a cloudy day"!

For Tammie

Life is circular, vast, and deep.
Within it
our human condition,
serendipitous and steep.

God Almighty fit every perfect thing together;
ubiquitous and true.
God Almighty made a masterpiece
when He created you.

Kamorra, with great priviledge
comes great responsibility.
And great is Thy faithfulness,
greatly concerning thee.

Kamorra; voice, gifted
with grace, so divine.
Smile radiating;
God's mercy within it's shine.

I enjoyed the subject, phrasing, and rhyme-rhythm of this piece. Sure seems like a winner to me. It had a great cadence as I read it.

This poetic work uplifted me as I read it. The rhythmic cadence flowed well. It's a magnanimous piece! I thoroughly enjoyed the read. It definitely stood out to me. The concept of seeing life in a colorful new way is resonating. I am partial to the creative way in which the writer expresses experiencing life with/in a brand new view.

Remarkable! I love how this poem comes full circle with Acceptance that we can only be who we are, no matter how others might try to steer us in a different direction. The father could never make the son become gritty, and now the son wants his son to be more educated than laboring. But at the end of it all everyone is who they are. Brilliant.

This poem has a very beautiful subject matter. The activity of perfect love in the most wholesome and innocent way. Caring, being cared for, and belonging. I appreciate how the writer switches from the Objective to the Subjective. The author is both parent and child; Server and served, Lover and loved. Which essentially, is the way of life. The circle of life. This is a lovely poetic work and I am so glad I read it.

Ahhh such bliss! This is fantastic in every way. And I completely and utterly understand. I am grateful to read something that connects in a far more personal manner than I expected it would. Oh how I love the "I amuse the muse that amused you" that line in itself, feels like falling in love, or at least to me it does. Quite gifted you are. Please don't ever stop. Thank you for this! God bless you, my fellow poet.
