I'm a 30 year old in Texas. Having written poetry since I was in 5th grade, it seems to follow me wherever I go. I'm a special education behavior teacher, who works with children with difficult behaviors. It is my hope that what I have written and continue to scribe will change their lives and those of many around the world. As someone who grew up in church, I've never believed in forcing someone to accept my beliefs but rather invite them to see them firsthand. My life experiences continue to inspire my writing and has evolved it over time. It even led me to publish my first poetry book this year, thorns over jewels I write to not only persuade or entertain. I do it as a spiritual connection to God and to reach those around me.
