I struggle with emotions, not a lack of control. More of a lack of feeling. My poetry is my attempt to understand emotions through thought.

To Dream

Lay me down to sleep tonight so I can dream and feel alright.
Forever falling in the wake, my heart is yours to simply take.
My eyes close to find the fantasy, so keep me there forever ecstasy.

My dream
My world
Only in one you are my girl

Is this my bidding?
Self destruction?
Oh who am I kidding,
It's my seduction.

To think the shadows were real at all,
When it was my choice, to take the fall.

Yet I chose to point away the blame.
Maybe to avoid this dreadful shame.
