Prayers are all that hold me up now,
'cuz with out you I just keep falling,
Tears creep in to take smiles captive,
My choice to 'just let it be' is stalling,
Getting caught up in my thoughts,
As I try to look ahead to brighter days,

in a maze,
drowning in an ocean,
stuck in a trance of mixed emotion,
caught in a tornado,
my world sipping 'round,
trying to keep my head up,
only to keep falling down,
trying to move forward,
yet only to fall back,
my mode always set...

now somebody can really see me...

Loving a convict
Is hard I must say
You have to admit
It has a high price to pay...

It's loving and caring
With no one to hold
It's being alone
Waiting for time to unfold...

But never stop caring
And always be true
