It's All The Same

It's all the same and those picture perfect eyes are staring at mine.
I see what you left behind, oh how could I go through this again?

Can I ever be the same as before? You left the door open when you said goodbye.

I don't think I could ever go through the emotions again…it was your goodbye that left me.

It's all the same as it was your words that left me standing here.
But when you walked away, I was not the same.

Left me with these stars at night, but when I look at them they remind me of you. It was your smile that gave me everything, but as it was you were not there.

So I looked clearly into the night, wondering where you are?
Still I know it's all the same, but those words keep coming back.

I will always be there in your heart weather it's far or near?
I stare into the night just wondering where you are?
So for now I'll be standing here, under these stars.

Max Hornbogen

My name is Max D. Hornbogen and I live in Marquette Michigan all my life. When I started writing it was during my brothers graduation from high school. I really don't know the year. Now I am 22 years old, while I was growing up my dad died in a car accident during the winter. Some of my pomes are about him, a lot of my others ones are personal. Most of them deal with everyday life and the struggles that I deal with. Also some of them are kind of dark, but I do have a wide variety of everything. The one thing that I love the most out of my writing is that it is an outlet, it's like my own world. I get to say whatever I want. I love music of all kinds, also it's another reason I love writing my poems. I always study lyrics by other music artist that are out there. Also I got to have music on while I write my poems.I have been writing 5 years so far more…
