Poetic Carousel Pt. II

(6) Give Cadence To The Simple

shake dreams from her hair my pretty one
choose the day the way of the earth
time is all we have through the duration of our lives
bring our eager hearts into focus in which to deliver
.........................................................................................
bury me deep beneath the groves along the garden path
bask in the vast expanse between space & time
sublime
come together as one
..........................................................................................
each piercing eyes fills the conclave of love's lasting fate

(7) Blowing In The Breeze

within emmense silence theirs a hint of violence
shades of grey tormented among the Elms
as the city cascading moments of granduer filtered through a song
stand strong in the duration of the dream give heed to love
.............................................................................................................
there's something blowing in the wind
a newer way to begin all over again
I see a vision in the clouds
twice spotted with holes
.........................................................................................................
lurking in the darkness there is a glimmer of hope
glowing ever growing
chearing ever tearing
beneath the ground the earth does swell
.................................................................................................................
come away with me now through temptress of fire

(8) One Hand To Hold A Heart Will Mend II

we can smell the lavender out on the dew
early morning cow would be among its chew
through starry eyes frightened but fixed upon a sound
glaring among the Albatross we cross
...................................................................................................................
at every circumstance we can claim our prize
with annointed hands in cosmic tapestry
life is but a mystery
give cadence to its pride
..................................................................................................................
we can hold things inside not willing to share
flirt with fire throw darts at our hair
each step that we take make no mistake caused by faith
columns of pillars ascending on the land
...................................................................................................................
when will we ever live for the day all will understand ?

(9) Moving Pictures

there's a doorway that holds us
the streams of love to mold us
but nothing seems to move us
we stand erected as if pushed out to sea
.........................................................................................................................
hoping that a girl will soon come to marry me ?
we can only get a glimpse of what's to be
life is but a mystery
if we slow down and pay attention
............................................................................................................................
we can hear the Robin with a song
it will help you get along
like an old movie watching Elvis Presley
we often wander to change the story
...........................................................................................................................
yet why should we ever worry ?

(10) The Last Stand

tighten the Elms
within nature's grasp
a tiff for taff
have a tendency to over react
....................................................................................................................................
you flirt with fire
in a blaze of glory
trying to change the story
so why should we ever worry
..........................................................................................................................................
like John Wayn'e taking his final stand
let the reader understand
life is what you make it so don't try and fake it
burning bridges in the mockery of thorns
................................................................................................................................................
curse the given day you were actually born
