The Reality Of Contemplation.

Existence shares the reality of contemplation
For its Source permeates all that exists
A Creator whose own nature is that
Of Love.

Contemplation is a journey of the heart, in fact
It is more for God must be at the centre
Of our hearts: the centre
Of all centres.

The concept of heart implies an inner space
A place of silence and attention relative to
The exercises of remaining, pondering,
Watching, praying.

An opening of ourselves to God: an inflow
Of our Creator which if not hampered
Fires our souls in the Spirit of Love
According to Juan de la Cruz.

Which implies that contemplation lies in
Us receiving. That is to make ourselves
Capable of the latter and increase
Our focus on God.

Which is a spirit of solitary prayer requiring
The need to withdraw at intervals from
Busy activity for moments of
Communion with Our Father.

Arising from our contemplative journey
We will draw closer and closer to God
Bearing fruit by offering ourselves
To serve others.

Such a contemplative journey will add to
A closer relationship with Jesus and under
His guidance his Spirit of Love will ensure
The success of the new evangelisation.

A journey with Mary whose ‘yes’ to Gabriel
Opened the door to her contemplative
Journey which ensured the birth of
Jesus who gave us contemplation.
