Exquite Imbellished Existence

the salt air permeates my inner thoughts
lovingly supports the addage of feelings
we grow stronger each day by faith
love is the mere essence of our existence
we stand as socially wandering wizards
through the plains of hate & neglect
sorrowful mystery in the pattern of are thoughts
a beacon of light to a hurting world of pain
what hurts you the most is it out of fear
I shed a single tear to numb the inner pain
the warm hand of the one who is willing to love
shape dreams from your hair child choose the day
for the night is far spent in misery of a haunting reality
are we getting ready for eternity
holding hands in a land of make believe
we must be willing to achieve
got something up your sleave
want to be something in this world of hate
call it fate in my humble abode of a Peyton Place
so I will continue to walk in the forest of my mind
closed from the outside memory of the sublime
we render each other the goodness that is due
yet have we bitten off far more then we could ever chew
life doesn't ever stop for anyone so have your day in the sun
heavy brigade of doubts rising up in my mind
there are those leaders who are blind
the salt air in my window again
that deep desire from within
reaching out to people to come together
getting lost in the sauce of sullen brevity
shadows finally turn to a pale whitened grey
a humble need to bow the knee to pray
light & love
