The Mistress of Life

She is quite good.
A nibble here,
a small bite there.
Never over indulges
but saviors.
A delicacy followed
with a smile.

How many courses tasted
and how many more to dine?
She has never changed.
Delicate and sweet.
Disarming smile.
A true Artist with an eye
for detail.

You eventually notice her work.
A small crease here,
a wrinkle there.
You look at the reflection
and finally realize.
She is quite good
