Father Snow

Father Snow,
creeping up on me
with your white
suit of black tar ice

I want to be
free of the blast
of bold cold
tapping at my door

Please go away
I need to get out
But I shiver
in your white streets

I fear that you'll come
in a wheezy surprise
I'll hide inside my space

But I jut got
a second gust right now
I get in my car and turn the key

Out of here
for an hour
salted roads and wet puddles
lead me to a new place

Please don't bother me
anymore  today
Father Snow
Please go away
