Don’t look back,
Take the forward track,
There’s tragedies far worse.
In the news
Someone’s paid his dues,
Ending up in a hearse.

Don’t look down,
Get rid of that frown,
Fighting spirits emerge.
When compared,
To a problem aired,
See others on the verge.

Don’t see red,
Get even instead,
Lifting the mood a notch.
When in first,
The cycle is burst,
While others stand and watch.

Don’t see blue,
To yourself be true,
Nobody else will care.
Gather pride,
And let others slide,
Into the cynics lair.

Now look up,
From the full cup sup,
The battle has been won.
It’s a won’t,
And a defiant don’t,
The negatives are done.
