Mother Earth's plea

Mother Earth's Plea

I am crying
Does anyone hear me?
You used me
You hurt me
Now will you stand
And protect me?

I have done what I can
To provide all that you need
I can't give much more
With this poison flowing through me.

We need to be United
For United we are strong
Without each other we have nothing
But the dirt to walk upon.

I am but a voice
A thought in your head
That joy in your heart
The soft breeze on your skin.

I feel you
As once you felt me
PLEASE
I am begging you
Can you still hear me?

I can't make it without you
Standing by my side
United as one we can survive
Through peace and friendship
we can make it through
All I need
IS YOU!!
