It's gonna get you

Elizabeth Brown 1988 (Maryland)

There's something inside me
That wants to come out
This rage and this anger is lurking around
There's no way to make it all disappear
When you are the one who brought it all here
Pushing and pressing these buttons of mine
Slowly it's making my blood pressure rise
I tried to hold back but what can I do
Sooner or later it's going to get you
I held it inside for quite a long time
But to pretend it's not there it's like pretending I'm blind
And I knew I felt this and I can barely control
It's eating away at the deepest part of my soul
And if It can't escape it's going to change me
Into something I don't really want to be
Evil takes over no more Angel inside
It's the devil on my left and a demon on my right
Both are as worse than the other one is
The presents that now came from your constant continuances
I tried to warn you but you brought the bad through
And just like I said now it's going to get you
