Forever After Satan's Kiss
"Forever After Satan's Kiss "
Goodbye old love, for I shan't forget... Those days filled with mirthful bliss, above the world twas only us, we danced on the zenith of Mount Olympus... The days we held the hands of time, forever yours and forever mine.. Those days and nights were all the same, from Augustus's sun till Novembers rain, no nothing's ever felt this way, my world shall never be the same... The love you showed swept me away, held captive by the love we made... The love we shared, the love we had, it felt so good yet was so bad.. You stole my heart and made my mind, the stairway to Heaven together we'd climb. I took a knee and gently kissed the hands of time, forever together I am yours and you are mine..
A gift or a curse as thy love starts to hurt, whilst I sluggishly fade from life to a hearse.. You began holding me down so you could stay high, as I struggle and drown you reach the sky... As love turns to hate, and pleasure to pain, you rest on a cloud as I pray in the rain. All that I was was washing away, as chunks of my soul began to decay, one drop at a time from a hole in my vein, a cracked hour glass my sand slowly drains... And as I slip through the grips of the hands of time, you take a step back as I diminish and die. 'Tis here that I see with tears in my eyes, all that we had was nothing but lies, I may have been yours but you never were mine.
Mesmerized by a siren's call, tantalized by the truth of it all... I struck the rocks sailing full speed, now nothing left but shattered debris. A shadow of what I used to be, I wearily float, I can hardly breath. I nearly drown as I profusely bleed... Left for dead by Venus's trap, another lost soul with no sign of a map. In the vast expanse of Neptune's wrath, the waves they pull me towards Pluto's path and whilst I lay within the lonely crest, espy a star from my abyss. Frozen in time this moment is blest, 'tis time I let go I no longer resist. I release those hands I once dearly kissed. Goodbye old love, for I shan't forget.
From the stairway to Heaven to the gateway of Hell. From the freedom of the universe to the pits of a cell... Enough passion in my chest to make a demon cry, defenselessly bound I somberly helped a young angel die... Oh how I wish I could turn back the hands of time, to before I was yours and before I thought you were mine.
I am so sick of this life! My bags are packed, no longer a comet in orbit on an elliptical track, I'd try to escape and you'd give me some slack, I'd reach the limits and your gravitational force would pull me right back... But not this time, for I am free. No longer am I your slave to be. There may be a you and there is now a me, but never again shall there be a we... 'Tis time now for me to go, and never again take that old beaten road. I barely survived the cold desert of snow, as you tried so feverishly to swallow my soul. Yet here I am. I stand on my own. I stand as a man. I stand alone with a fire in my eyes that can be seen as it's shown. Weathered through time I've grown hard as a stone.
So Goodbye old love, for I shan't forget... The pain you brought in such torturous ways, so many agonizing nights and nefarious days. My life and death to you was a game, now tear drops and blood stains are all that remain...yet I have acquired some wisdom through all of your schemes like how this life may never be as it seems. Still alive now I shine strong as Sol's radiant beams. I have learned to fight through the nightmares and hold tight to my dreams.
Yes my time will come, but yours has past. As I compassionately lay you down to rest and I once again embrace the hands of time now knowing I never was yours and you shan't ever again be mine.
