The Earth's Children

                                          The Earth's Children

Arms sway in the breeze
That blow
Giving us shade
Below
They cradle creatures of the air
Creatures on the ground
Sometimes make their homes there
their hair bushy and green
A joy to sit between
Standing proud and tall
Beautiful tears fall...they that glow touch of Gold
Crimson...sister Scarlet crackle
Beneath they feet all before Mother's sleep
Fragrant sweet...bees come to meet
Song birds pleasant to hear
Passing of another year...of this passing
Fewer, fewer remain
Where would we be...if they don't remain.

About this poem

I love trees and the forest, the beauty they show through out the seasons.where would we be if they didn't always remain.
