The minstrel's miss

Whose profound love for you is blind,
The creators of mankind.
Who’d surrender their life to keep you alive,
It is solely because of them that you thrive.

Don’t be hesitant to portray your gratitude, unfathomable,
Burdened with responsibilities, undervalued with a label.
Fortunately, for you, she remains tenacious,
No matter the circumstances, continues to be gracious.
Before her own it is your thirst that she would quench,
During every tide with protectiveness it is you she would clench.

Could you read her hardships through the silence?
Or have you too fallen for her plausible pretence?
Your every joy and sadness is hers. In your sorrow she too has wept,
Oh dear, how will you ever pay back this debt?
