A poet's genuine thoughts!

Kartik Hiwale 2005 (Aurangabad)

Why does everyone assume that poets are depressed?
It's just that their thoughts are suppressed.
In the poems they write, their emotions are expressed,
Why does everyone assume that poets are depressed?

They have the power to make the non-living live,
It's their imagination, you better believe,
All their power lies within their pen,
They can make a human lay eggs like a hen.
Their brain is a place where a tsunami of emotions is compressed,
Why does everyone assume that poets are depressed?
