Lie lies and more lies
A lost child is a loose child
A happy girl is a cursed teen
A dying girl is a freed child
Kiss me!! kiss me!! kiss... Me
How do I tell my mother I am my father's sin?
How do I tell my father I am my uncle's dream?
How do I tell my fears to God when I am his messenger as well?
His faith in me is as pure as it can be but how do I tell my brother I am tainted?
Caged by my home how do I tell my lover I'm darker than his fears and dirtier than his thoughts for me?
How do I tell myself that every kiss is not real but a dream
About this poem
The poem is about how young girls are taunted in their years and how they fear telling those they care about how much they suffer through because they too can't stand how much pain they are hiding from themselves.
