A Child's Love

There is no other like a child's love
A special gift sent from above
Holding your child with loving arms
Hoping to keep safe from worldly charms
The joy a child brings, nothing can compare
They give love freely, obliging to share
They can bring a smile to your face
And fill a void no other can replace
They are the sunshine in our days
They light up our lives in so many ways
We watch them grow through the years
Often with anxiety, sometimes with fear
They fill our lives with happy times
They make memories, with song and rhyme
We watch each day as they grow
We have the love of a child you know
